Camp Poem
Camp
The camp was so boring that everyone fainted.
The camp was as awesome as going on an adventure.
The trip was exciting waiting for what's in store for you at your destination.
We couldn’t wait to go on a new experience to have a cool camp.
The Water Slide was cold as ice
The rafting was as tiring as doing cross country

Where Im From Poem
Where I’m From
I am from the early sun over mount ruapehu and the peaceful batch.
I am from the crying sister that expects everything that she wants.
I am from the scorching days on the farm, hanging out and having a good time
I am from the fun days on the mount skiing with frozen toes.
I am from the crispy bacon salt and peppered with eggs on toast.
I am from the early wake and good day surfing at the beach catching waves
I am from the relaxation as the sun goes down with a hot chocolate.

In term 4 we have been doing summerising on how wolves change rivers, first we had to watch the video a couple of times to understand the video. Then we had to listen to the video then put notes of what is happening in the video.

Advertisement reflection
How did we grab people’s attention right from the beginning? Having us do a dance to a song to make them want to watch more later in the video.
Was our content relevant to our political party policies? Yes because every person from the group said a policy.
How did we give our audience a good idea about what our policies are? b Yes because at the end we said all our policies clearly
How was our ad value for money? Was just right so we didn't go bankrupt and we didn't spend much money. We left enough money for our ad before we did it and it was the right amount of time we wanted
What was successful about our ad? We got to say our policy's and we got to say why we wanted you to vote for us.
If we could change anything what would we do differently next time? Make the video more about what we are about and make the video have things about food.
What skills will I need to improve on to do this? Forgetting about doing silly things and do things that will help them find out more about us.
Here is our ad!!!!!!!

White Mouse Supply Canister
| In class we have been doing a white mouse unit with Nancy Wake in World War II. For one of the tasks we had to get into pairs and get a bottle and make a supply canister. Once we got the shape we wanted the bottle in we inserted pictures of what we think would be in a supply canister. Then we printed them out and put them in the bottle |

Rugby 2011 Movie Exposition
Rugby World Cup 2011 Movie
Dear Reader
The action, the suspense, the physical games, the fury, the rugby world cup 2011 movie!
We would like to recommend a movie about the rugby world cup 2011 so people can relive the experience and feel anticipation of the games.
We would like to help the viewers to see all the great skills they use to maybe help the kids out there to see how much training of the simple skills they have to do because we won’t have awesome All Blacks team the whole time. We are hoping you agree.
The people that haven't seen it can get to see all the games in quality and get to pause rewind and fastforward and the awesome thing is NO ADS! We will also have a special feature of Dan Carters injury and the All Blacks thought of not having him in the world cup because he is one of their star players!
We will have special features of the trainings to see what hard work they have to do to get to their position because it doesn't come by itself. It also will make the kids out there want to be better than they already are.
We will get you on the edge of your seat by the suspense and make you want to watch more. We want you to feel like you're at the game not on the couch.
At the end we will have features of the winners with all the celebrating they did in their country. Like the winning team holding the world cup in the street parades in all the cities with the fans taking pictures of the players.
Again I hope you agree it will be a great movie to watch we would love you to see a movie about the rugby world cup 2011 to have the experience of a lifetime!

Project: Chicken Pox
For the last few weeks we have been doing projects on diseases and here is my project on chicken pox.
What are chicken pox?
Chicken pox are a disease that are pimples that can get really itchy and pussy . It is an infection with varicella zoster virus. Some animals like gorillas and chimpanzees get them quite often and you can sometimes catch chicken pox off them.
Why are they called chicken pox?
They are called chicken pox because they looked like chick peas so they made it into chicken pox. And chick peas are a food that are brown. Chicken pox were called pimples before chickenpox and the have not been called chicken pox for the whole time.
A cool fact:
You will only get chicken pox once in your life if you have the bad
How contagious are they and what can you do to stop them spreading?
Chicken pox are very contagious and It spreads through sneezing and illness. You can stop them spreading by not getting to close to the person with the chicken pox and not sharing anything like a drink bottle or something like that with that person.
Do you get them all over your body? You can get them everywhere on your body and they get really itchy and there lots of them and they can get really big. They can get really big on your head and you can get so many that you can hardly see your skin it just looks like you're really

Sense Of Smell
Smell would save your life. For example. You go to sit on the couch and you notice that you have left the oven on. Then the heat starts a fire and you are concentrating on you favorite program. Then you get a sense of smoke that comes up your nose and see that the oven is on fire and try to put it with a fire extinguisher but you can't so you get out and you are alive.
How you smell
You smell by your repector cells triggering each smell and that it what triggers the smell. Your nose breaths in the air and that is what activates the repector cells. Inside your nose is the olfactory epithelium which means smell device. In the smell device there are more than 10 million scent receptors These receptors can distinguish up to 10,000 different smells. Tiny odor molecules pass through the nose. The receptors send messages to the brain about the smells.
Bogies are helpful
Bogies are helpful
Bogies can help you by keeping dust and pollen out of your lungs and the snot will keep you from getting sick. So dont forget try and keep your snot in your nose not in your mouth!!!
Conclusion
So there you go that is the sense of smell. As you you could see not smell, smell is quite a helpful thing. You may not be alive if you couldn't smell. SO KEEP CARE OF YOUR NOSE!!

REID'S EMBARRASSING MOMENT
We arrived at Meeanee speedway in Hawkes Bay and I was really excited because it was the saloon champs which are really fast cars. We found our seats that looked comfy and a good view of the track it was, My Dad, Sister and I. We hadn't had dinner and we were really hungry. So we bought some chips, drinks, and hot dogs. When we got back to the stands the first race was on it was the mini stocks which i'm going to race in some time soon. They started the race, as usual it was the 5b car of Regan Penn in lead. He has probably learnt from his dad who is Shane Penn, the NZ two time champion for super stocks! In second place was Thomas Rumble who is Joe Farams stepson and has again probably learnt off Joe. In third was Cameron Swift who is Lauren's brother and who knows who he learnt drive from. In the end it was still the same results. I stood up when the super stocks came out and cheered when shane penn drove out and you wouldn't believe what happend. I tripped up with my chips in my hands, landing on someone and getting sauce all over him and on myself. I then stood up again and i tripped up again
